  42.     Jade is the successor to my Jed 2.07 editor, the name has
  43.     been changed because there is at least one other editor
  44.     called Jed.

  46.     A programmer's text editor, it is fully configurable with
  47.     its own Lisp-style programming language (includes interpreter,
  48.     compiler and debugger).

  50.     All keybindings/mouse buttons/menus are configurable, with
  51.     the Lisp files included in the distribution it emulates a
  52.     subset of GNU Emacs.
  53.  
  54.     Jade supports the Amiga and Unix/X11 systems, full source
  55.     is provided for both, a binary distribution is available
  56.     for the Amiga.
